1. What Personal Data We Collect
We only collect data strictly necessary to deliver verified everyday help and services:
Full name, verified mobile phone number, service address, and neighborhood details.
Aadhaar card details (for identity verification), permanent address proof, police clearance certificate, and trade background.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to facilitate the everyday help platform:
- Dispatching the nearest verified professional to your specific location.
- Generating unique, dynamic 6-digit doorstep OTP handshakes for security verification.
- Facilitating seamless visitor and security verification where applicable.
- Providing transactional SMS, WhatsApp updates, and customer care resolution.
We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal data to third-party advertisers or marketing brokers.
3. Encryption & Sensitive Document Protection
All government identity proofs (such as Aadhaar or PAN submitted by service partners) are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
Access to unredacted identity documents is strictly restricted via role-based access control (RBAC) to authorized compliance officers and is audited periodically.
4. Payment Data & RBI Compliance
ApnaMate does not collect or store credit card numbers, debit card CVVs, or UPI MPINs on our servers.
All transactions are routed through our RBI-authorized, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway partner, Razorpay, using tokenized encryption.
5. Data Retention & Right to Erasure
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, you have the right to request access to your data, correct inaccuracies, or request permanent account erasure.
We retain transactional booking logs for the statutory period required by Indian taxation and corporate financial reporting laws, after which they are irreversibly anonymized.
